South Korean companies are also expanding into Austria.

A Seoul-based extended reality firm established a research lab in Vienna to develop diverse state-of-the-art industrial solutions optimised for manufacturing, and tap into the local talent pool.

"South Korea lacks XR developers but the best talents are based in Austria, a leading country in mobile AR. Vienna is an attractive venue for start-ups and innovation as there's plenty of joint research between firms."
